Cleanliness drive conducted in Lal Draman post Summer Festival

Around one quintal plastic, polythene collected for safe disposal

Doda: Thousands of locals from across the district Doda and adjoining districts visited the Lal Draman meadow during the two day Youth Conclave/ Lal Draman Summer festival organised by District Administration.
Post the Summer festival a massive cleanliness drive was conducted to clear accumulated waste, especially plastic material to maintain and protect the fragile environment of the place. The cleanliness drive was conducted under the supervision of ACD, Phulail Singh and DFO Ravinder Kumar with the participation of Yogi Anil, volunteers of NGO Tejas Ek Pehal and locals. Around one quintal plastic, and polythene was collected, which will be safely disposed of.
Earlier, early in the morning a Yoga session for locals was also conducted amid the sprawling meadows of Lal Draman by Yogi Anil, who performed various asanas which were repeated by the participants.
