93 Motorized tricycles distributed among specially-abled persons in Kulgam

Kulgam: The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, Mohd Afzal Parrey, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday distributed motorized tricycles among specially-abled persons at mini-secretariat, here.
During the distribution function that was organized by District Social Welfare Office Kulgam and sponsored by J&K Rehabilitation Council 93 motorized tri-cycles were distributed among the beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the distribution of these motorized tricycles has been done with an aim to empower specially-abled persons.
He further said efforts are afoot to provide opportunities and proper facilities to specially-abled persons and children of the district to empower them so that they can realize their dreams and aspirations.
Among others, ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather; DDC member Manzgam, Choudhary Jameela; TSWOs, officials of the department, and beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
