Samba: Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma, held a meeting to review the Revenue Department here on Thursday.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised digitising Mussavis and re-creating dilapidated Mussavis to streamline land records. Tehsildars were instructed to complete this task within specified timelines. The Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) and SDMs were directed to ensure timely completion.
The chair discussed the need for attention to detail in the correction of Jamabandies to ensure accurate land records. Regarding the Geo-referencing of Cadastral Maps, SDMs were assigned the responsibility of identifying villages where Abadi was not recorded and submitting patwar-wise information.
The DC highlighted the need to expedite land acquisition cases, particularly those involving land transfer to the Army and other security forces. ACR and SDMs were entrusted with ensuring prompt compensation and swift resolution of all pending cases.
The DC directed to organise village-wise camps to facilitate smooth inheritance mutation processes and provide efficient online services, including Fardintikhab, Revenue Record, various certificates and CLU applications.
The status of domicile certificates was reviewed to ensure timely issuance to eligible individuals. Officers were directed to review pending SRO-43 cases and take necessary steps for prompt resolution.
Tehsildars were tasked with checking pending services to uphold PSGA principles. The status of ongoing departmental enquiries, redressal of public grievances and vigilance matters were discussed for timely resolutions.
The DC examined existing vacancy positions in administrative roles and discussed measures to address them. He reviewed complaints and grievances on the J&K Grievance Redressal Portal, emphasising swift disposal.
The implementation of e-office at all levels was reviewed. Naib-Tehsildars were commended for having the service available at their level. All Tehsildars were instructed to clear the backlog of mutations.
The attendees included Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), SDMs from Vijaypur and Ghagwal, Tehsildars, Naib-Tehsildars and Girdawars/Patwaries of the district.
