ANANTNAG, 26: Anantnag Police uncovered vital information regarding the drug peddling activities in the juridication of Police Station Dooru, acting swiftly police party from police station Dooru laid down a Naka at Mandipora crossing and intercepted a Truck bearing registration number JK18A-5471 during search Police party recovered about 320 KGs of Poppy Straw like substance from the said truck, Two persons boarding in the truck namely Balvinder Kumar S/O Santok Ram R/O Pakadeem Jalender Punjab and Boshan Das S/O Sangra Ram R/O Ward No 2 Mohalla Chodyan Jalender punjab were arrested and Contraband as well the Truck used for the commission of crime was seized on spot.
Moreover another Police party during Naka checking at Mehmmod Abad crossing stopped a Bike bearing registration number JK03K-4240 for checking during checking police party recovered about 04 Grams of Herione like substance from the possession of two persons Riding in the Bike namely Malik Anzar S/O Gh Nabi Malik R/O Nathipora Dooru and Nakeeb Yousuf Thakroo S/O Mohd Yousuf R/O Gori Bijbehara, Accused were arrested and contraband as well as the the Bike used for the commission of crime was seized.
