Srinagar|July, 25: Meteorological Department on Tuesday said that there is a possibility of rain showers in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir more so in Jammu region in next 24 hours.
An official of the Meteorological Department said that Intense showers, flash floods, and cloudbursts can occur in a few spots, adding therein that between Thursday afternoon and Saturday evening the possibility of intense showers, flash floods, and cloudbursts will increase. The official also said that intense showers can also occur over both the routes to the Holy Amarnath Cave, which are from Pahalgam to Amarnath Holy Cave and from Baltal to Amarnath Holy Cave, adding therein that Jammu-Srinagar National Highway may experience shooting stones and landslides.
