Jammu: An Awareness Programme, as a part of July Month Anti Dengue campaign, was organized on Monday at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Science and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu.
The program was held under the direct supervision of Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Director Health Services Jammu, who was the Chief Guest on this occasion. More than 400 students, faculty members, non teaching staff and Administrative staff of SKUAST were sensitized. A Power Point Presentation regarding the Vector Borne Diseases, in particular Dengue, was given by Dr. Harjeet Rai, State Surveillance Officer/ State Malariologist, J&K, Jammu.
Dr. Rajesh Katoch, Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Anil Gupta, Medical Officer, Dr. Sushma, Medical Officers at SKUAST and Dr. Subash, NSS, Coordinator were also present on the occasion. This activity was carried out as part of the National Social Service activity of the Agriculture College.
