Kishtwar: In a groundbreaking initiative, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav on Monday unveiled the Micro ATM facility to cater to the needs of devotees undertaking the revered Machail Mata Yatra and the general public.
The facility has been made possible through a strategic collaboration between HDFC Bank Branch and the Common Service Centre (CSC) Kishtwar.
This pioneering service will be conveniently available at six key yatra points, namely Atholi, Gulabgarh, Kundail, Chishoti, Hamori, and the revered Machail Mata Temple itself.
The introduction of the Micro ATM facility is poised to bring immense relief to the devotees and general public alike, significantly easing monetary transactions in hitherto underserved banking areas during the Yatra period.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner extended his appreciation to HDFC Bank and CSC Kishtwar for their relentless efforts in materializing this much-needed initiative.
He remarked, “The Micro ATM facility is a testament to the unwavering commitment of HDFC Bank and CSC Kishtwar in enhancing the overall Yatra experience and fostering financial inclusivity in our region.”
Branch Head HDFC Kishtwar, Kamran Nehru, HDFC Branch Sales Manager, Sajad Bashir, Assistant Manager CSC Kishtwar, Suman Kapoor and District Manager CSC Kishtwar, Shagufta Malik played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of the Micro ATM facility.
With the introduction of Micro ATM services at these key locations, the devotees and the general public can now conduct hassle-free monetary transactions, including cash withdrawals and deposits. The on-site presence of CSC representatives throughout the Yatra period will ensure seamless banking services for all.
