Udhampur: Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations, Jammu on Saturday organised a Symposium on the topic “Independence Day Celebrations” here in Delhi Public School Udhampur.
The objective behind the event was to remember the sacrifice of Martyrs with great pride.
The students presented the piece of valuable information on Har Ghar Tiranga; Unsung Heroes; Flag Code and Freedom Fighters.
Students were judged on parameters of Pronunciation, Modulation of Voice, Factual Representation, confidence etc.
The guests present at the event were Pro Vice Chairman, Dr. J. C. Gupta; MD of the School, Vivek Gupta; Principal of the School, Dr. Kunal Anand and others.
Roshni Sharma (Tgt English), Swati Suwal (Tgt Eng) were the Judges for the day. They Judged the students on the given criteria.
First Position was bagged by Harinav Sharma, Second Position was secured by Charchika Gupta and Third Position went to Suhani Thakur.
The Price distribution ceremony was followed by felicitation of the guests.
