Srinagar: A Reading and News Room has been inaugurated at Boys Higher Secondary School in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Friday, officials said. They said that today on 21st of July 2023, a long pending demand of the students was fulfilled by the HOI of BHSS Sopore by inaugurating the Reading and News Room in the institution.
The officials further said that the Principal, HSS Sopore Mushtaq Sopori gave the demand a practical shape, revisiting its glorious tradition. “While taking the lead personally, he brought news papers and magazines. Students and teachers community both have appreciated the magnanimous step with unanimity,” they added.
Meanwhile, a good number of teachers and lecturers from nearby institutions also graced the occasion with their presence and highly admired the endeavours of Mushtaq Sopori in promoting the literary culture and build a reading atmosphere. One of the officials said that, “Mushtaq sahab has recently took the charges of this prestigious institution of Sopore and his first and primary priority is to revive the academic and literary activities in the institution and serve the historical town with new zeal and zest on educational level.”
