CUK condoles demise of Biotech student

Ganderbal: Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Shahid Rasool, Registrar, Prof. M. Afzal Zargar, I/c Controller of Examinations, Prof. Fayaz Ahmad Nika, Finance Officer, Dr. Mehraj ud Din Shah, Deans of Schools, Heads and Coordinators of Departments, faculty members, administrative staff, research scholars and students, Friday, condoled the demise of Ms. Qudrat Farooq, student of 4th semester, B.Sc.-M.Sc. Biotechnology, of the varsity.
According to a statement issued from Central University of Kashmir here, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath and other functionaries expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
A condolence meeting was also held at Science Campus Nunar, in which Dr. Abid Hamid Dar, Head Deptt of Biotechnology along with other faculty members, staff and students expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Ms. Qudrat. Later, the participants visited the family of the deceased and sympathised with the bereaved family.
