G’bal: A grand farewell function was organised by the District Bar Association Ganderbal (DBAG) to bid adieu to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Ganderbal, Judge Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone here in the district court complex.
The colourful farewell party was attended by the Principal District Judge Ganderbal, Judicial Magistrate Ganderbal, Additional Mobile Magistrate Ganderbal, Executive Body of DBAG and other esteemed Bar Members.
On the occasion, all the members chose more poetic ways to convey their cordial emotions to bid adieu to the Judge.
Addressing the gathering, President DBAG, Sajad Hyder Salathi prayed for the better health of the outgoing Judge. “The BAR is very much impressed and happy with the working style and timely resolutions of the CJM”, he added.
Advocate Zulfiqar Alam, Vice President recited a sher (couplet) by Mir Taqi Mir while praising the Cooperative approach and goodness of the Judge.
The BAR also presented a Shawl and Turban to Judge Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone to remark the tireless work and disposal during his two month short posting of the Judge which had come as an arrangement of the CJM Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi, who stayed on a medical leave for the said period.
