Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that it had solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person involved in the commission of crime in north Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that on 15th July this year Police Station Pattan received a complaint from one Farooq Ahmad Bhat S/o Ab Jabbar Bhat R/o Wailoo Pattan who alleged therein that some unknown burglars barged his Kiryana shop situated at Wailoo Pattan during Friday prayers and stole Edible oil & other Kiryana items.
Stating that the police accordingly registered a case vide FIR No. 232/2023 at Police Station Pattan and initiated an investigation into the case, Police in its statement further said that during the course of investigation, with the help of technical and human resources the investigators zeroed in on one suspect namely Sajad Ahmad Bhat S/o Mohd Ramzan Bhat R/o Wailoo Pattan and after thorough questioning, he confessed his involvement in the commission of crime.
In the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement police said that on the disclosure of the said accused all the stolen property including edible oil & Kiryana items were recovered from his possession.
