ICAR Foundation Day: 3 days Prog concludes at KVK B’pora

Bandipora: The three days programme, commemorating 95th ICAR Foundation cum Technology Day concluded on Wednesday at KVK Bandipora.
During the programme, progressive farmers, farm-women, budding entrepreneurs and rural youth from different parts of the district including tribal areas participated actively.
Keynote presentations by experts highlighting the importance of technology adoption in agriculture and its potential benefits were delivered during the three days celebrations.
Presentations on successful case studies of technology implementation in agriculture, showcasing local examples were also delivered during the event by Programme Coordinator, Dr Tariq Sultan and scientists Dr Tahir Saleem and Dr Hilal Ahmad Malik.
Exhibition featuring various agricultural technologies such as high yielding varieties of cereals, vegetables and millets, farm machinery and smart irrigation systems was organized at the Kendra.
During the programme, interactive sessions were also held wherein farmers, rural youth directly interacted with technology providers.
