Poonch: Police on Friday said that it has recovered an old rusted mortar shell in Poonch and destroyed it without any damage.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that the shell was found during construction at Gali area of Sawjian in Mandi area of Poonch, adding therein that soon after being informed police party rushed to spot and recovered and destroyed it without any damage to life or property.
