Udhampur: District Magistrate Udhampur has constituted a Committee to inquire into the reasons of locking down of Government High School Joffer.
Taking cognizance of the news report published in a section of print media regarding locking down of the School by the locals, a preliminary report was sought by the DM, in which it has been found that there was alleged involvement of masters /teachers working against the sanctioned posts in the same school, in inciting locals of the area to raise demands against the vacant posts and other issues related to functioning of the school.
Taking serious note of the preliminary report, the DM constituted an enquiry committee under the chairmanship of SDM Ramnagar. The committee has been directed to conclude the proceedings and submit a detailed report in the matter within the given timeframe.
