Distt Capex Budget: DC Reasi reviews tendering, allotment & execution of works

Reasi: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal on Saturday chaired a meeting of the development departments to review the progress of projects being executed in the district under District Capex budget 2023-24.
On the occasion, the DC was apprised with regard to approved projects being executed by various departments in the district. DDC was also informed about the tendering process and execution of different works.
After reviewing the sector wise progress of the projects, the DC impressed upon all the departments/executing agencies to ensure timely completion of all stages of execution of works viz. estimation, tendering, allotment and on ground execution of all developmental works in a time bound manner.
During the meeting District Development Commissioner, Reasi took detailed sector wise review & progress under District Capex Budget including UT Capex, Area Development Fund, Aspirational Bock Development Programme & Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme in Education, RDD, PDD, PHE, Health and other sectors.
During the meeting it was informed that total no. of works under District Capex 2023-24 including ADF, ABDP and APDP is 3036 which includes 2599 new works & 437 ongoing works, 978 works has put to tender. 50% of funds has also been released to all the cause executive agency to meet out all the financial liability of ongoing works under district capex budget.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Reasi Jyoti Slathia, CPO Reasi Sunita Kanchan, Chief Medical Officer Reasi, Executive Engineer REW Reasi, Executive Engineer, PWD(R&B), Mahore/ Reasi; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Reasi and other concerned officers.
