The discussion was presided over by Dr. Kamal Kishore Sharma, Director Agriculture Jammu.
Addressing the audience, he said the tradition of holding dialogue is prevalent in India since ancient times. “Because of which this knowledge of Indian culture has been guiding the world for thousands of years. The relationship between spirituality and agriculture is very old. The Parashar Samhita book of Rishi Parashar ji is proof of this” he observed. He further said that this dialogue with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Aksharanand Giri ji, a scholar ascetic, also takes this tradition forward, that is why all of us scholars associated with agriculture should read it.
