DC Kulgam presides over Grievances redressal camp at Devsar

Kulgam: Prioritizing redressal of grievances & issues at the door steps of people, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Wednesday visited Devsar and presided over a grievances redressal camp.
The programme witnessed overwhelming response from PRIs and general public especially from youth who participated to highlight issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal.
Officers from District Administration including ADC Viqar Ahmad Giri, ACR Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran, CEO, Exen Jal Shakti, Tehsildar Pahloo, Devsar, BDOs, BMO and other officers were present in the camps.
People from Nowpora, Kilam, Brinal, Mandhool, Maskhud, Chowgam, Tankipora and other areas participated in this grievance redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and grievances besides projected developmental demands and requirements of their areas.
Officers and heads of departments also responded to the queries and grievances of the people pertaining to their departments and intimated people about various welfare schemes and ongoing developmental projects.
The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the grievances on the spot.
He also added that early redressal of public grievances is the priority of administration and instructed the officers to ensure prompt response in mitigation of public issues and grievances.
Meanwhile, grievances redressal camps were also held at Block D. H. Pora and Block Kulgam.
