Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to take the stock of physical and financial achievements made under District Capex and other schemes.
During the meeting, it was informed that there are a total of 2421 approved works under District Capex which include 2270 new works and 151 ongoing works. 1770 works have been administratively approved for execution.
The DC instructed the concerned to float tenders of administratively approved works at an earliest.
While reviewing progress under centrally sponsored schemes, the DC instructed concerned officers to achieve the set targets so that the potential outcome shall be achieved.
The DC also directed the concerned officers to ensure completion of all approved MPLAD works.He stressed to utilize the working season properly to complete works well in time.
He also urged the concerned to work religiously and to induce extra efforts to achieve the desired results.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather, JDP Zahid Sajjad, ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Shurjeel Ali, Executive Engineers from R&B, REW, CMO, CEO and other officers.
