Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Monday visited Vessu and took stock of facilities available for Yatries there.
The DC took a detailed stock of available facilities and instructed the concerned to ensure availability of all requisite facilities for Yatries to ensure their comfortable stay.
It was informed that due to closure of the highway the District Administration has created additional accommodation of 500 beds at Vessu for stranded Yatries to avoid any inconvenience to them.
The DC was accompanied by SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal, ADC Viqar Ahmad Giri, A-SP NH44 Shabir Ahmad, ACR Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, CMO, Ex. Engineers from PHE and PDD besides other officers and officials from other departments.
