Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has launched a series of training programmes on “Investigation Techniques” in the central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The training will be imparted to over 300 investigating officers of the district. The first leg of training was conducted on Saturday at DPL Budgam in which over 50 IOs participated.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar the Dy S P Mukhtar Ahmad hosted the training program who delivered detailed lecture on different subjects on IT Act, Cyber Crime Challenges. He also highlighted the latest technology, tools and techniques related to cyber security, IT Act etc. He also threw light on the importance of cyber security in contemporary era where most of the financial, social activities are done via internet. He informed the participants about legal ways and means to protect against network intrusions and unlawful activities like hacking, cyber bullying, phishing, online banking frauds etc.
Moreover, the event was also attended by DySP Shri Nazir Ahmad, LO DPL Budgam and other officers of DPL Budgam. The training session at DPL Budgam concluded with enthusiasm and on a positive note.
