The biggest function was held at Gurdwara Chatti Padshahi in old Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha along with Sikh devotees, offered special prayers at Chatti Padshahi Rainawari. Srinagar Mayor Junaid Mattu also accompanied LG to the Gurudwara.

The Mayor interacted with the Sangat and inquired about the arrangements that had been put in place.

The Guruduwara management expressed satisfaction with the arrangements.

In north Kashmir, the main function was held at Gurdwara Chatti Padshahi, located in Old Baramulla town. The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Sehrish Asgar, accompanied by SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagapure, visited Gurdwara Chattipadshai Baramulla and extended her warm greetings to the Sikh community on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji Maharaj being celebrated today throughout the World.
