While the cause for the recent JK Bank’s MPay app crash on the eve of Eid-Ul Adha lies is the poor quality of the bank’s existing Mpay delight app, the top management of the J&K Bank has randomly transferred employees from IT Department instead of upgrading the Mpay app or replacing the existing bank’s delight Mpay app with a latest version of the Mpay app. Interestingly not only the Mpay app crashed on the eve of Eid Ul Adha this year but people could not draw cash from even ATMs of the J&K Bank mostly due to shortage of cash in the ATMs. Punishing the employees through a massive series of transfers of the employees of the bank’s IT department won’t by any standards of understandabilities improve the working of the Mpay app but instead the launch of the latest version of the Mpay app would hopefully improve the working of digital transactions through Mpay as has been experienced by several nationalised banks across the country. Random transfers of the employees of the Bank’s IT Department would surely silence the critics aghast over the disruptions in the working of the bank’s existing delight Mpay app till the commencement of Eid Ul Fitr next year but replacement of staffers won’t at all improve the working of digital transactions through Mpay app. Since the J&K Bank’s Mpay app has not crashed for the first time on the eve of Eid this year but this app crashed on the eve Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Adha last year also, even replacing the old version of the Mpay app with the existing delight Mpay App did not improve the digital transaction system on the eve of Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Adha this year which quietly indicates that J&K Bank has not choosen the latest upgraded version of the Mpay app run very smoothly and effectively by many nationalised banks.
“Knowing that people call Jammu & Kashmir Bank “ Apna Bank” administrative wisdom demands that the top management of the bank replaces the existing delight version of the J&K Bank with a latest version of the Mpay App presently run by several top nationalised banks of the country and stops using transfers as tool of punishment for bank’s staffers putting in their best for maintaining the reputation of the bank.”
While the fact remains that staffers of the bank would never ever like to compromise the reputation of the bank in the delivery of services to customers, the random transfers of the bank’s staff would only bring down their morale which again is not good for the working of the Jammu & Kashmir. Knowing that people call Jammu & Kashmir Bank “ Apna Bank” administrative wisdom demands that the top management of the bank replaces the existing delight version of the J&K Bank with a latest version of the Mpay App presently run by several top nationalised banks of the country and stops using transfers as tool of punishment for bank’s staffers putting in their best for maintaining the reputation of the bank..
