Srinagar: The Welfare meeting of the Battalion Welfare Committee on Monday met under the Chairmanship of Sandeep Mehta, Commanding Officer (CO) IRP 11th Bn and sanctioned welfare loan to the tune of Rs. 4.70 lakhs in favour of 10 officers/officials of the battalion.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Jammu, a loan of Rs. 50,000/- each was sanctioned in favour of (04) four personnel for marriage of their dependents. An amount of Rs.50,000/- each was sanctioned in favour of (04) personnel for treatment of their dependants/ self treatment. An amount of Rs. 50,000/- was sanctioned in favour of one personnel of this unit for higher education of his ward. In addition to above, an amount of Rs. 20,000/- was sanctioned in favour of a person to meet his social obligation. Lastly, the Chairman of the committee (Commandant) expressed satisfaction on the timely disbursal of the welfare loans as it helps in meeting such expenses of jawans without facing any difficulty.
