ADC B’pora reviews construction of Walk-way around Wular Lake

Bandipora : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, (DC) Bandipora, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora Umar Shafi Pandith, on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to discuss various issues related to execution of works on Non Motorable Road/Walk-way around Wular Lake.
The meeting conducted threadbare discussions on various issues/aspects of the ongoing project, including Land and Tree Compensation, Irrigation Issue, and disposal of extra excavated material.
The concerned officers presented a detailed overview of the steps taken on all the issues.
The ADC directed the concerned officers to ensure proper coordination for smooth execution and early completion of the prestigious project.
He sensitised officials present in the meeting about the importance of the road towards the upliftment of the area.
The locals present in the meeting assured the chair of their cooperation in ensuring smooth and hassle free execution of the project.
The ADC directed the concerned officers to take the locals on board while executing the work and get their issues, if any, resolved under rules.
The meeting was attended by DDC member Hajin-B, Dr Mustafa Khan; ACR Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani; Ex. Engineer R&B, I&FC, Chief Horticulture Officer Bandipora, Coordinator WUCMA, AD Rakhs and Farms, Tehsildar Ajas and other concerned officers, besides local inhabitants.
