J&K Police to organize Cycle Race “Pedal for Peace” on June 25

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Police is organizing Cycle Race-2023 “Pedal for Peace” in collaboration with J&K Cycling Association Srinagar at Lake View Police Golf Course Boulevard Srinagar on June 25, 2023 (Sunday) under its Civic Action Program 2023-24. The event is being held under the patronage of Dilbag Singh DGP J&K. S.J.M Geelani- ADGP Armed J&K is the Chairman, while as Shahid Mehraj DIG Armed Kashmir is the Organizing Secretary and Tahir Saleem-SSP Commandant JKAP-5th Bn is the Nodal Officer.
According to a statement issued from APHQ Media Cell J&K, Srinagar to review the arrangements in connection with the successful conduct of the Mega Event, a preparatory meeting was held on Saturday at the venue which was chaired by Shahid Mehraj DIG Armed Kashmir, who directed all the officers for timely completion of their respective assignments related to the event. During the meeting Kuldeep Handoo-DySP (Sports) APHQ gave detailed presentation viz-a viz the arrangements made on ground for successful conduct of the event and all the related arrangements were discussed threadbare.
The meeting was also attended by all the designated Nodal Officers/ Chairman of the Sub-Committees and Associated Officials including Abdul Qayoom (DIG IR Kashmir), Suhail Munawar Mir (SSP Crime Branch Kashmir), Bakar Hussain Samoon-SSP (CO IR-23rd Bn.), Mohammad Aslam SSP (CO. JKAP 13th Bn.), Abdul Hakim Munshi-SSP (CO IR-3rd Bn.), Tahir Saleem-SSP (CO JKAP 9th Bn.), Muneer Ahmad–SP (Dy.CO IR-20th), Feroz Ahmad-SP (APCR Kashmir), and Kuldeep Handoo-DYSP (Sports) APHQ J&K.
