Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Saturday visited Mata Katyayani temple at Kakran and Mata Kulwagishori temple at Kulgam to oversee the arrangements put in place for ‘Haar Ashtami’.
Officers from KPDCL, Jal Shakti, Health, RDD and other line departments briefed the DC about the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of the celebrations at these places.
On the occasion, the DC asked the concerned officers to synergize efforts and extend all requisite facilities to the devotees.
He directed all the offices to ensure appropriate arrangements are put in place for the smooth celebrations of ‘HaarAshtami.’
The DC during the visit was accompanied by ACR, Mir Imitiyaz Ul Aziz; ACD, Mohammad Imran; ACP Shrjeel Ali; Tehsildar Kulgam, BMO, EO, TSO and other officers.
