Edu Deptt team inspects Govt. schools in Kulwanta area

Udhampur: To assess the academic activities and review implementation of different schemes initiated by the government for the welfare of the students, a team of the education department on Friday conducted a surprise inspection of Government Schools here in Kulwanta area.
The Team comprising Chief Education Officer, Geetu Bangotra, Assistant Director Planning, Darshan Kumar and other officials visited different schools of Zone Kulwanta including GHSS Keya and inspected the ongoing Civil works under SAMAGRA. The team also assessed the academic activities and general ambiance in the school. The team found the school neat and clean and students were found quite satisfactory in their academic duties.
The teams also inspected the Middle School Katora and Government High School Kulwanta. The CEO interacted with the staff and students besides inspecting the civil construction works under progress.
Students of HSS Keya also presented a cultural programme related to Nasha Mukt Abhiyan which greatly impressed the officers. Appreciation certificates were also distributed to the students for their impressive performance.
