Doda: Enforcement teams on Friday seized two trolleys and two heavy excavators involved in illegal mining in the Bhalla area.
The operation was conducted jointly by the revenue department and team of the geology and mining Department. District Mineral Officer, Sunil Kumar Manhas, Naib Tehsildar Bhalla and the local Choki Officer were part of the inspection team.
Similarly in the preceding days, the DMO Doda, along with the Naib Tehsildar Bhalla, seized one LNT machine and the dumps of crushed material at Dar Crusher in Bhaderwah.
The seizure operations were carried out in accordance with the laws outlined in the Mineral Act.
By taking decisive action against the illegal mining activities, the authorities have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to uphold the law and preserve the natural resources in the region.
