Srinagar : To review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances, a meeting with retired Police officers was held at DPL Ganderbal on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar the meeting was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar and the participants were welcomed by Addl.SP Ganderbal Malik Ajaz. He assured them that police are always at their disposal and asked them not to feel isolated. Further they were assured that they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.
On this occasion, the participants patiently heard chairing officer and other officers of District and assured them full cooperation who were assured that their demands/problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their redressal. It was also made clear in the meeting that retirees are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions and there is great respect for them in the Police organization as they have rendered a long service and toiled hard to earn the name for the organization. Various measures are taken by the Police department for the welfare of retired Police personnel and their wards.
The meeting was also attended by RI, LO DPL Ganderbal & other senior Police Officers. At the end, the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from both the sides.
