Police hosts farewell function for outgoing officers in Awantipora

Srinagar: Police in Awantipora hosted an impressive farewell function at DPL Awantipora for the outgoing officers Imtiyaz Ahmad upon his transfer from the Police District to District Srinagar as SDPO Khanayar and Inspector Mohammad Younis Khan to District Pulwama here on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar on this occasion threw light on the tenure of departing officers and commended their supervisory skills, professionalism and decision making during toughest situations. He appreciated the work punctuality, highest integrity and dedication of the officers towards their duties.
Speaking on the occasion, the departing officers shared their experience during their tenure in Police District. They also extended their gratitude to all ranks of District Police Awantipora for their cooperation and the honour.
On the occasion, DySP DAR, SDPO Awantipora, SDPO Tral, CIO SIU PD Awantipora SHOs and other senior officers were also present.
Later on, the departing officers were given mementos and gifts as a goodwill gesture and officers extended best wishes to them for their future assignment.
