Int’l Workshop on Research Methodologies, IPRs inaugurated at GDC Bhaderwah

Bhaerwah : With great enthusiasm and exuberance, the One Week International Workshop on Research Methodology and IPRs kick started, today on 20th of June 2023 in Govt. (PG) Degree College Bhaderwah. The workshop began with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by solemn play of national anthem. The welcome address was presented by Dr. K.K Sharma, Principal of the college wherein he highlighted the importance of the workshop and expressed his gratitude towards all the resource persons, participants and the guests joining the event across the globe. The IQAC coordinator and Convenor of the workshop Prof.S.S Parihar in his briefing illuminated the importance of workshop and also deliberated on the structure of the ongoing workshop and introduced all the resource persons to the participants. The keynote address was presented by Dr. Balwinder Singh Tiwana, Professor, Department of Economics, Punjabi University, Patiala. Drawing attention of the audiences, he gave deep insights of research, methods and technicalities, review of literature, writing proposal and finally presenting the reports in the research thesis.The chief guest of the occasion Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal, Principal GDC Doda, underscored the relevance of research and IPRs in the present time and also thanked the organizing team for taking this initiative. Prof. Basharat Iqbal, Principal GDC Thathri and Dr. Javaid Iqbal, Principal, GDC Kilhoran graced the event as Guest of Honour and Special Guest respectively. The guests were bestowed upon with a momento and bouquet as a token of love and respect by the organizers which included Prof. BP Singh, Prof. Pinki Kotwal and Dr. Sandeep Kotwal in the role of Co-convenors, Prof. Mohd. Yaseen Sirwal, Prof. Ankush Kumar, Prof. Nazar ul Islam and Dr. Irshad Ahmed Wani in the capacity of organizing secretaries while Prof. Arjun Kotwal, Prof. Prithvi Raj, Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed, Prof. Deep Chand, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Prof. Shahbaz Ahmed, Prof. Mohd. Qasim Mir, Prof. Sanjay Kumar (PS), Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Sh Zakir Ali(PTI) and Renuka Goria acted as technical organizers for the workshop. The speaker of the first technical session Prof. Ajit Khosla, Department of Mechanical System Engineering, Yamagata University Japan who spoke on the topic “Unveiling Insights: Exploring the world of sensors in research methodology”. He gave valuable insights on the role of nanotechnology in the area of research and also illustrated the very ideology of ethics in the research approaches applied in natural and social sciences. The session was attended by more than 110 participants in online mode and nearly 100 participants in offline mode. The inaugural session was moderated by Prof. Pinki Kotwal whereas the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Nazar ul Islam. The first technical session was moderated as well as concluded by Dr. Irshad Ahmed Wani. Prominent among the others present in the workshop were Prof. Khursheed A Naqshi, Prof. Davinder Kumar, Prof, Mansa Ram, Prof. NK Manhas, Prof. Sanjay Katal, Dr. Shoket Ali, Prof. Naaz Zarger, Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dr. Sanjay Kumar (Sr), Dr. Sanjay kumar (Jr), Dr. Reyaz Ahmed, Prof. Verinder singh, Prof. Sandesh Kumar, Prof. Manjeet Singh, Prof. Jaideep Kumar, Prof. Ashwani Kumar, Prof. Rahul Uttam, Joginder kumar, Dilveer, Reyaz, Ajay, Seema, Sajad, Ms. Monika, Victor Ray and Umesh.
