Jammu : Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan club of Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu on Tuesday organised a Debate Competition On Drug Abuse Awareness.
The event aimed to make the students aware and about the pressing issue of drug abuse.
With a strong emphasis on fostering awareness and prevention, this event served as a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and critical thinking skills.
Addressing the alarming rise of drug abuse cases in our society, the competition witnessed passionate discussions and thought-provoking arguments. Participants delved into topics such as the root causes of drug abuse and their impact on the society. The panel of esteemed judges, consisting of Prof Mamta Gupta (HOD & DEAN COMMERCE), Prof. Rajni Dogra (HOD Economics) and Prof. Anupama Sharma (PO NSS UNIT 2) meticulously evaluated the performances of each team. Their expertise and impartiality ensured a fair evaluation process. The top-performing teams were awarded prizes, recognizing their exceptional debating skills and the effectiveness of their arguments.
