2 -day Career Development & Skill Enhancement Program held at IUST

Awantipora : CIED-IUST Foundation in association with Indokash Professional Private ltd. organized a Two -day Career Development and Skill Enhancement Program for the youth. During the program, a panel of experts deliberated on different issues concerning skilling, upskilling, reskilling and entrepreneurship in the face of requirements of IR 4.0.
According to a statement issued from IUST here, welcome the participants, Director CIED IUST, Dr Pervez Ahmad Mir, said that considering the changing landscapes of Industry and technology, the emphasis has to be on constant learning and innovation. Talking about the role of CIED in developing innovation and entrepreneurship culture, he said exposing the University students to concepts and processes of incubation, ideation, entrepreneurship is the need of the hour.
A Career Acceleration program was conducted by Kirti CEO of Mojo Pundit -Institute of Career Coaching and Training, Global who also assured to have a dedicated facility at IUST Campus for personalized counselling, training, and placement assistance to students in their professional journeys. Dr.Tauseef Ahmed and Mr. Amjid Rizvi , Director – Indokash Professional Pvt. Ltd also delivered and emphasized on resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning in the face of a rapidly changing job market. They advised the participants to think innovatively and develop an entrepreneurial spirit of pursuing opportunities.
Shahid Khan , Director Indokash Professional Pvt. ltd talked at length about career planning, goal setting, and personal development. He also talked about self-reflection, exploring one’s passion and purpose, and aligning career choices with personal values and aspirations. Other distinguished speakers of the program, among others, included Vineet Pawar Regional Manager , CMA India Pvt. ltd. (IMA US) , Jagmohan Singh , Founder Righto , Ramneek Singh , Country Head , Liaison College Brampton , who enlightened the audience about the evolving job market landscape and the critical skills and qualities that employers seek in candidates.
