Srinagar : Addressing the critical issue of drug addiction, Budgam Police organized a one-day workshop for PRI members (Panches and Sarpanches) at District Police Lines Budgam.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, more than 50 PRI members participated in the workshop, which was focused on prevention strategies, imparted essential knowledge to participants, including identifying symptoms and appropriate initial responses.
Addressing the participants, Additional SP Budgam Gowher Ahmad Khan emphasized the crucial role of PRI members in raising awareness and implementing preventive measures at the grassroot level. The session provided an opportunity for participants to engage in open dialogue, share experiences and learn from one another.
Ms. Insha In-charge of the Drug De-Addiction Center DPL Budgam delivered a comprehensive presentation, providing valuable insights and sharing her expertise on various aspects of drug addiction.
