Srinagar : Police in Kulgam on Monday facilitated a meeting of Retired Police Personnel at District Police Lines Kulgam.
According to a statement issued from Zonal police Headquarters Srinagar, the meeting was chaired by SP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal. Among others Addl. SP Kulgam Shabir Ahmad, DySP DAR Kulgam Rajinder Singh, Chairman PRANG of J&K Ghulam Hassan Zargar, Secretary PRANG of J&K, President PRANG district Kulgam were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues and chairing officer listened the grievances patiently and assured them that their issues will be taken up with higher ups and will be solved on priority basis. He further added that welfare of our retired persons as well as their family members always remains our top priority.
Besides, the participants were gladly welcomed by SP Kulgam, who assured them that at any juncture of time they are at the beck and call of the department. In their response, the participants hailed the patient hearing given by SP Kulgam. Later cash and blankets were distributed among the needy retired police personnel.
