IRP 18th Bn Organizes Darbar-cum-Bhara Khana at Battalion Hqrs DPL Jammu

Jammu : A Darbar cum Bhara Khana was organized by IRP 18th Bn at Battalion Hqrs DPL Jammu which was attended by almost 400 Jawans and officers. It was also graced by presence of IGP Armed/IR Sh. Mahendra Nath Tiwari and DIG IR Range Jammu Sarah Rizvi.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Jammu, the program started with presenting Guard of Honor to officer followed by address of IGP to the Jawans in which IGP Armed impressed upon the Jawans to do their duty with full dedications, honesty and presence of mind to avoid any incident in future especially incoming SANJY-2023 and religious festivals. He emphasized the need to improve upon the basics of duties whether on guards, law and order, security, traffic duty during yatra and any other duty assigned to them. He further impressed upon the jawans to keep in mind their fitness by doing regular exercises, yoga and good food habits. He further stressed that they should keep on regularly accessing their fitness and wellbeing by controlled food habits. The jawans responded in affirmative by clapping on each point balanced.
The visiting officers later on had a one-to-one meeting with GO’s and NGO’s of the unit and exerted them to prepare the jawans for in upcoming challenges and work in corrdination with sister agencies and other forces and take care of jawans in term of their needs and genuine requirements. CO IRP-18th Bn Kulbir Singh JKPS SSP also briefed officers regarding duties and tasking of the battalion in details and assured the IGP that all necessary instructions will be taken for the betterment of the jawans. The IGP AP/IR Zone Jammu appreciated the preparations made on the occasion. On the conclusion of this program, Commandant IRP-18th BN Sh. Kulbir Singh, heartily thanked the IGP Armed/IR Zone Jammu and DIG IR Range Jammu for delivering such informative suggestions/ideas on the occasion. He also assured that such programs shall also be conducted in future to boost the morale of the jawans of the Battalion.
