ADDC Kishtwar conducts 2 Day extensive tour of Dachhan area

Kishtwar: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal undertook a two-day extensive tour of the far-flung Dachhan area to accelerate the pace of development and reach out to the local populace at their doorstep.
The ADDC, along with the entourage, covered a distance of 22 km on foot, traversing the challenging terrain to reach the remote panchayats in the region.
Accompanied by BDO Dachhan Ravi Kumar and Prabhari Panchayat Lopara, Dr. Jeevan Dhar (Principal GDC Paddar), ADDC Sham Lal inspected visited several Panchayats including Soundar A, Soundar B, Soundar C, Loharna, Lopara, and Janakpur. The entourage also comprised officers and officials from the Revenue, RDD, R&B, Horticulture, and other departments.
During the visit, the ADDC Kishtwar interacted with several delegations led by local PRIs and listened to their concerns and grievances related to the development of local infrastructure.
Responding to the demands, the ADDC Kishtwar assured immediate redressal of their genuine grievances. A majority of the issues raised were promptly addressed in consultation with the respective officers and field functionaries.
The ADDC Kishtwar received several memorandums of demands at various locations, highlighting the pressing needs and aspirations of the local community.
Concurrently, ADDC Kishtwar assessed the progress of various ongoing developmental activities in the Panchayats and issued necessary directions to the concerned authorities to expedite the completion of these works within the stipulated time frame.
In addition, ADDC also participated in the demarcation of land identified for the construction of a hospital under the RR plan & Skill Upgradation Centre under the BDC plan at Sirchi.
The ADDC also visited HSS Panjdhara and HSS Soundar, engaging with staff members, reviewing ongoing development activities, and assessing the infrastructure requirements of these educational institutions.
The comprehensive tour of ADDC Kishtwar reflects the unwavering commitment of the district administration to prioritize the development and well-being of the far-flung regions, ensuring that the needs and aspirations of the local community are met.
