Srinagar: In a major administrative reform, the Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University ordered the promotion of 80 Assistant Professors under Career Advancement Scheme which includes promotions from Assistant Professor Stage I to Stage II and Stage II to Stage III here on Friday. According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office BGSBU. speaking on the occasion, Prof. Akbar said, “I am happy that teachers have got their promotions. Teachers are the backbone of any institution and I hope that with this the teachers will work even with more zeal and zest to take BGSBU to new heights of success in national and international platforms”.
In his address, Prof. Akbar also mentioned that in the recent past many such academic and administrative reforms have been made to develop BGSB University as a center of excellence. Faculty members of the university thanked the vice Chancellor for this historic step and hoped that the University will achieve its marks in the national and international forums under the leadership of Prof. Akbar Masood.
