Srinagar : SeniorNational Conference leader and Member Parliament from Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi on Thursday toured various areas of Tral and took stock of the ongoing public Works in the constituency.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters Srinagar Justice (Retd) Masoodi visited Khanqa Faiz Panah, Hazrat Meer Syed Ali Hamdani, Degree College Tral, Batnoor and Karmulla villages. On this occasion, he assured the locals that the proposal of Pahalgam-Tral-Khrew -Srinagar is being vigorously pursued with Central and J&K Government that “while DPR of Syed Abad – Wahab Saheb segment stands prepared, it’s preparation is awaited for Lehndajjan – Batnoor segment.
Masoodi also emphasised that the proposed road shall not only promote tourism but also open up the area to development and generate employment.
The College administration and girl students Degree College Tral highlighted the problems faced by them due to lack of adequate transport facilities. He promised to explore the possibility of releasing funds from MPLAD funds for purchase of a bus for use by students.
Interacting with the elders of Tral town to have a first-hand information regarding the reasons responsible for delay in construction of Khan kahi Faiz Panah and uncertainty regarding administration of one of the most important religious place of Jammu and Kashmir, he assured immediate intervention so that all doubts regarding management are dispelled.
