Bandipora : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan on Friday conducted a comprehensive physical verification of recently completed languishing projects in Sumbal Sub Division of district Bandipora.
The physical verification covered several important projects, including the upgradation of Sumbal Wangnipora, Sumbal Nesbal, Sumbal Arampora Road, Dumpora Road and their allied links. The well at Odina and the Water Supply Scheme (WSS) at Pahalipora Chandegeer in the Sumbal sub-division were also part of the verification process.
During the verification process, the concerned departments were instructed to submit all relevant documents promptly to facilitate the preparation of the physical verification report for higher-level submissions. The report will serve as an essential document in assessing the completion and effectiveness of these projects.
The ADDC emphasized the importance of transparent and accountable project implementation. He said the physical verification process aims to ensure that the completed projects meet the required standards and specifications, and that public funds have been utilized efficiently.
Ali Afsar Khan further said that completion of these languishing projects will contribute significantly to the development and welfare of the communities in Sumbal Sub-Division.
The ADDC was accompanied by Executive Engineer R&B Sumbal, Assistant Executive Engineer PHE besides other concerned officers.
