Udhampur : District Level Task Force Committee on J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) on Thursday approved 44 cases seeking loan assistance under the scheme here at its meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya.
In all, 55 applications were placed before the DLTFC, out of which ten applicants were absent, one was rejected and 44 applications were approved for sponsoring to banks after thorough scrutiny of the documents and interaction with the applicants.
The DC urged the unemployed youth to come forward and avail the benefits of flagship schemes and programmes to earn and live life with dignity and honour.
