Srinagar : Police Hospital Jammu on Wednesday organized “Three Days Medical Awareness Camp for students of Police Public School, Miran Sahib Jammu. The camp was organised under the overall supervision of Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Jammu for the children studying from Nursery to class 12th started on 29th May-2023.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Srinagar, the team of doctors comprising Dr. Asha Manhas, Gynecologist Dr. Tahir Rehmatullah, Pediatrician Dr. Simi Kotwal, Dr. Sunil Bhagat & Dr. Baljit Singh Bali all Medical Officers thoroughly checked all the students and also gave briefing to all the children as to what precautions they must take for their better health care & also make them aware regarding the medical facilities which are available in Police Hospital Jammu for them and for their family members as well.
On this occasion, Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal & the visiting doctors delivered thought provoking and informative lectures regarding adolescent issues, hormonal changes, behavioral changes, mood swings etc
Meanwhile, the Medical Superintendent also stressed upon the students belonging to the Police Pariwar to inform their parents to fully avail the medical facilities being provided at the Police Hospital, Jammu free of cost. Dr. Kotwal conveyed to students of PPS Jammu that “Happiness comes when You are Healthy” She conveyed her gratitude and thanks to Chairperson PWWA & Principal for organizing the programme for the health and well being of students of the school and by providing opportunity to the Police Hospital Jammu to conduct the programme. Moreover, the camp ended today with the vote of thanks by Rajeev Sharma, Principal Police Public School Miran Sahib Jammu.
