Doda : Setting in motion the process of rationalization of teaching staff, District Administration Doda has identified 439 teachers across the district, whose services can have more usage at some teacher scarce government Schools.
The teachers will be transferred to schools where they are fewer in number based on the public feedback received during Block Diwas and other public outreach programmes of the administration.
The teacher-pupil ratio and availability of subject specific teachers was worked out by the department before the rationalisation of the teaching staff to provide quality education in the government schools across the district.
A special Committee headed by Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Pran Singh has put in extraordinary efforts to rationalise the staff as per the educational needs of the students in every Government School of the district.
It is pertinent to mention here that the administration has already made subject experts and best study material available on the ADHBUT Doda portal (Online Classes and Study material) for the convenience of the students. The administration is striving to make the educational standard of the students of this District at par with other parts of the country and make them able to compete and succeed in every field, said the DDC while briefing on the rationalisation process.
