On the occasion, Director interacted with the job providers and job seekers and highlighted the importance of such events for educated unemployed youth of the region.
He said that the government is facilitating the unemployed youth to avail employment in the private sector by organizing regular Job fairs. He also deliberated upon various other departmental activities and emphasized on self employment in addition to employment in private sector.
Director said that such platforms are meant to provide private companies with an opportunity to exhibit their vacancies, skill requirements and make on spot recruitments whereas the unemployed youth get an opportunity to interact with companies available under one roof, learn about skills in demand and secure gainful employment for themselves.
Joint Director Employment, Dr. Khalid Hussain Malik also addressed the event and highlighted the importance of the fair.
