Srinagar A 45-year-old man was stabbed to death on Tuesday in Batamaloo area of Srinagar, officials said.
Officials said that a man identified as Aijaz Ahmad Bhat (45), son of Gh Rasool Bhat of Mominabad Batamaloo was stabbed to death by unknown person near Dar Iron Traders at by- pass Batamaloo.
The injured person was taken to JVC hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
Meanwhile, police said that a case under FIR number 67/2023 under section 302 of IPC has been registered at Batamaloo Police Station and investigation has been taken up under Investigating Officer, Inspector Sabzar Ahmed, SHO Batamaloo
