Entrepreneurship Awareness/ Career counseling Prog held at Shopian

Shopia : The Govt. Polytechnic College, Shopian Saturday organized Entrepreneurship awareness cum Career counseling program in collaboration with District Employment & Counseling Centre and District Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Shopian about career opportunities and entrepreneurship, here.
Among others the program was attended by students and faculty of the Institution.
Arshad Malik District Nodal Officer, J&K EDI, Shopian; Ashiq Ayoub Bhat Counseling Officer, DECC Shopian; Rozy Jan, Employment Officer DECC Shopian and Imtiyaz Akbar from National Career Services were the resource persons for the session.
The students were apprised about different Employment Schemes introduced by the Govt. for self-employment and the role of entrepreneurship in the modern world of work.
An interactive session was also conducted wherein students cleared their doubts about the various aspects of employment.
The session ended with the vote of thanks to the guests and a resolve to continue collaboration with different departments for enabling students in shaping their careers.
