Jammu: Three blind siblings died while two others suffered injuries when a mud house collapsed due to rains in Padyarna area of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Khalil Poswal here on Saturday said that due to incessant rainfall during midnight, the wall of a mud house of one Ashwani Kumar, resident of Ajna Puller, Padyarna collapsed.
Three siblings, who were sleeping, got buried under the debris and died on the spot while their mother and sister suffered injuries.
The deceased (all visually impaired) were identified as Rajesh Kumar,18, Sajjan Kumar,19 and Papu Kumar, 20.
“The injured was rescued and shifted to the hospital,” said the officer.
