Srinagar: Police in Baramulla on Friday said that it has booked four persons under Public Safety Act for their involvement in anti-national activities after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the booked persons identified as Javaid Hussain Yatoo S/o Farooq Ahmad Yatoo R/o Goshbugh Pattan, Jan Nisar Khaliq Ganai S/o Abdul Khaliq Ganai R/o Chanderhama Pattan, Abid Parvaiz Hajam S/o Parvaiz Ahmad Hajam R/o Andergam Pattan & Nisar Ahmad Wani S/o Late Abdul Samad Wani R/o Sultanpora, Pattan have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu.
Police in it’s statement also said that many a cases were registered against the said accused for their involvement in anti-national activities and despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their ways and carry on their anti-social activities.
