On the third day of the fifth round, District Development Commissioner of Samba, Abhishek Sharma, visited the Panchayat Patyari of Sumb block to evaluate the progress of the Farmers Orientation on the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP).
During his visit, the DC actively engaged with the farmers and youth, emphasizing the importance of comprehending the salient features of various projects and schemes under the HADP. He particularly urged unemployed youths to seize the opportunity provided by this program for achieving self-sustenance in various sectors. Additionally, the District Development Commissioner issued directives to the heads of agriculture and allied sectors to ensure proper sensitization of farmers and youth regarding the government schemes.
